Cornerstone Housing Partners property management and development division creates high quality, attractive and safe rental housing in the population centers within Rutland and Bennington Counties. We are NOW HIRING a MAINTENANCE TECH for our properties in BRANDON, VT.
The MAINTENANCE TECH should have general homeowner-level maintenance skills and would handle general maintenance in occupied apartments at the resident’s request and vacant apartments to return them to move-in condition for future residents.
We need a self-starter that can work independently at a variety of locations and with teams. We offer paid training for our process, and any skills you possess in the following are preferred: painting, minor sheetrock repair, basic carpentry, faucet replacements, replacement of flush valves and assemblies, etc… Advanced skills also preferred are: mechanical systems, including oil and pellet systems, sewage and septic systems, flooring, tile, etc…
The Maintenance Tech should have own hand tools, a reliable truck or van with current inspection, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date vehicle insurance. We offer competitive pay and a generous benefits package. All mileage is reimbursed at the prevailing rate established by the IRS. This is a Monday-Friday position with some on-call hours.
