Home Repair Program
Need help making essential repairs to your home?
We’re here to guide you from start to finish.
For Homeowners
If you’re a homeowner in Addison, Rutland, or Bennington County and meet income eligibility requirements, our Home Repair Program can help you plan and coordinate critical home repair projects. Before you begin, one of our experienced Project Coordinators will evaluate the repairs you’re considering and identify any additional health or safety concerns. From there, we’ll help you develop a detailed scope of work, secure competitive pricing, and support you every step of the way—through to final inspection.
For Landlords
We also work with landlords who own 1–4 unit buildings in the same counties. To qualify, landlords must work with their tenants to document that the majority meet income eligibility requirements for a minimum of 5 years and must rent units at or below HUD Fair Market Rent (FMR). This program is part of a statewide effort to improve the quality and safety of Vermont’s rental housing.
Worried about cost?
We offer grants, affordable loans and expert guidance to make essential repairs possible.
