Staying Eligible: Annual Housing Recertification

Many of our housing units are subject to income and rent restrictions that vary based on household size. To ensure continued eligibility, Cornerstone Housing Partners is legally required to verify your income and other relevant information each year. This annual recertification helps determine that your unit remains occupied by an eligible household.

Please note: Any information you provide is kept strictly confidential.

Keep records of all income sources, including:

  • Paycheck stubs
  • Bank statements
  • Social Security Benefits letter

When you receive your Social Security Benefits letter, please send a copy to us via email.

Report Changes

You must report any of the following changes to Cornerstone Housing Partners within 10 days:

  • Change in income
  • Change in family size
  • Change in student status of any household member

Your lease provides more details on these requirements.
