Through our Home Repair Program, Cornerstone Housing Partners offers affordable loans to income-eligible Vermont homeowners who need to make critical health, safety, or energy efficiency improvements to their homes.

Whether you’re dealing with an aging roof, outdated wiring, plumbing concerns, or need to build a wheelchair ramp, our Home Repair Program can help you finance the work—so you can stay safe, warm, and secure at home.


Loan Details

Loan terms are based on income, with low interest rates determined by your household’s Area Median Income (AMI):

  • 1% interest rate, APR 1.000%
    • Rate available to customers with annual income below 50% AMI
  • 3% interest rate, APR 3.000%
    • Rate available to customers with annual income of 51% to 80% AMI
  • 5.25% interest rate, APR 5.251%
    • Rate available to customers with annual income 81% to 120% AMI
